FSLabs A320 compatibliity, some new audio settings and a fix for the flight planning functionality

Self-Loading Cargo v1.6.6.8 has released and brings compatibility with the FSLabs A320ceo/neo aircraft (seatbelt sign switch, cockpit door, cabin doors, APU etc.

There are a few nice to have features added such as the ability to turn off the "Go Ahead" (from Ground Crew) portion of the dialog when calling them from the cockpit - this allows you to perform actions such as "Cockpit to Ground? Please start refuelling" instead of the alternative of "Cockpit to Ground? wait Go Ahead? wait Please start refuelling". This saves time and makes interacting with the ground crew a lot more enjoyable - you can of course retain the old way of doing this if you wish, by re-enabling it in Settings.

There's also the capability of turning on/off the sounds the cabin doors make when opening and closing - you may wish to turn this off if, for instance, you're using GSX and it starts opening and closing the doors. It'll still happen, you just won't hear it and can pretend it isn't happening :-) Hopefully that will be fixed soon.

Oh - before I forget, there is also a fix for those of you who set up a flight plan manually rather than importing it from Simbrief. In previous versions this sometimes caused the flight plan to fail to display if the background thread loading the aircraft and cabins did not complete in time. Sorry about that, but you should have better luck in getting it to work now.

Aircraft ACP Functionality Temporarily Disabled

In this release I have TEMPORARILY disabled the abilility across all aircraft to be able to contact the ground / intercom / PA from the 3D cockpit switches/buttons. I have been receiving reports that at times it wasn't working brilliantly and sometimes repeating the button presses. I now know why it's happening so I will rectify it for a later update but in the mean time it's switched off - sorry about that.

IMPORTANT: Please update to the latest version of FSUIPC

A lot of support related queries lately are to do with WASM module issues causing LVARs to not be read correctly - this has been a long-standing issue but the culprit has actually been the FSUIPC-lvar-module which runs within MSFS; it crashing silently caused third party applications such as Self-Loading Cargo to no longer receive data and you would see issues such as GSX not boarding passengers, seatbelt signs no longer working and door issues.

Thankfully, the FSUIPC team have released a new version of FSUIPC with an updated WASM module which negates the problems with the MSFS SDK so I encourage you to download it and hopefully wave goodbye to these frustrating issues.

As an added bonus, there is an updated challenge / score item available for users of MSFS in which you will be required to have your strobe lights on any time you are positioned or a runway, since FSUIPC now recognises whether or not you're on one.
